Chipping Norton Cellars opened in June 2026 in a former Oxfam Bookshop in Chipping Norton.
The business was set up by Oli, who has worked in the retail wine trade in Oxfordshire for over 20 years.
‘I’ve always liked Chipping Norton, and have known it since working for Wine Rack and Threshers, I even did a few shifts in the Wine Rack (now ‘Beehive’) before it closed in 2009. I’m excited to be part of this thriving local community along with the rest of the team. We believe strongly in welcoming, personal service, getting to know your tastes personally and finding the next great parcel of wine. We also love running tastings, dinners and events and hope to bring these to Chipping Norton.
Chipping Norton Cellars is an independent Wine Merchant, working proudly with its sister business ‘Eynsham Cellars’ (founded in 2010 by Oli and his old business partner Iain)
As well as wines we also have strong relationships with some fantastic local Brewers and Distillers, championing quality smaller producers where possible.
Our range includes over 500 wines from around the world, selected from various importers as well as many sourced directly, we spend much of our time tasting and trying to find new and exciting wines, beers and spirits.
Wine is at the heart of what we do and we take pride in finding value whilst never compromising on quality. We also believe very strongly in honesty when it comes to pricing and discounting.
